Uchiya Thermostat celebrated our 50th Anniversary and our founder Mr. Tomoyoshi
Uchiya’s 80th Birthday on May 25, 2008 at “Ueno Totenko” in Tokyo.
Representatives from Uchiya group companies from Hong Kong and Ireland, graduates
and old friends of Uchiya group, relatives of Mr. T. Uchiya got together on the occasion.
Because of the recent disasters, big earthquake in China, big cyclone in Myanmar, we
moderated scale of our celebration (people invited about 35% of our original plan).
Winners of Lucky-draw were invited to donate 20% of their prize to the earthquake
victims in China.
